It ended with a bang!

STRESS. That's the one word to describe how i've been feeling since i last updated. Luckily, i have these people to help me de-stress over the weekends:)

On one random Saturday night, we (me, Faye, Shaun Lim and Sin Mun) decided to take a drive down to KL, where the KL Family/Gang (whichever you prefer to call) was first "formed" last December. After that, we headed down to Kayu for mamak. :)

Us!
with the guys

and my dearest Faye!!!

with Shaun and Faye.
These people never fail to cheer me up and listen to my stories. <3 them to bits.

On a more recent note, I went for AAR!! :) Thanks to Yin Sze for the ticket :)
Well, i wouldn't say it was a really awesome concert. It was just okay. We were among the front rows of the middle, quite close to the stage, so we were really excited at first, albeit the fact that so many people were pushing their way through. So, we waited from 6 to 730 and no-show. Finally, there were the opening acts by local bands which took up like.. 2 hours? I got really pissed. Its not to say i dont support local bands but most of the audience there are to watch AAR, not local bands! The worst thing of all, AAR only appeared at like around 10 and they only performed for about an hour and a half.
But AAR ALONE was great :)

Yin Sze!
Oh, and one more thing i learnt, it's not about how early you go there to get a good spot in the audiece but how well you can push through the crowd. Barbaric, yes i know. But, that's life, so deal with it! :P
Okay, I'm off again!
I float on the streets that are empty
Take the path that the wind only knows
Tonight is the last time I'll ever be here
There's an answer in the sound of a train
There is wisdom past the bridge on the bay
There's a lifetime through the fog, in the rain,
There's a beauty in walking away.

Take care.

Reality Strikes.

I guess it's gonna have to hurt,
I guess I'm gonna have to cry,
And let go of some things I've loved,
To get to the other side,
I guess it's gonna break me down,
Like falling when you try to fly,
It's sad, but sometimes moving on with the rest of your life,
Starts with goodbye.

I know there's a blue horizon,
Somewhere up ahead, just waiting for me,
Getting there means leaving things behind,
Sometimes life's so bitter sweet.

Time heals,
The wounds that you feel,
Somehow, right now.

Here Me Say, Don't Throw it Away

This week has been, by far, the most exciting and adventurous week ever since I've started in Nottingham. Despite that, I haven't taken any pics though :(

But first, here's WEEK ONE (including registration and induction):

Week One was spent with Cassandra (roommate) and her Sabahan friends. Billy drove us down to Mid Valley and me, trying to lead the way, ended us up in Low Yat instead of Mid Valley. We had trouble finding it for about more than an hour. Then, after Mid Valley, we had trouble finding where IMU is cos one of her friends studies in IMU. That was the longest journey ever. It took us about roughly an hour and half or two just finding where the place is. And then, another half an hour back to Nottingham. And that was the latest i've slept : 3 am.

okay : Here comes the EXCITING ONE !! :)

Monday - Class as usual. Had my first Practical Class. And, in case you're wondering what do we do in our practical class, don't worry, we don't hypnotise people. What we do is we learn how to conduct experiments and collect data using the computer. Then, since we had about a few hours of break before our 3 pm class, me and Audrey Low decided to book the badminton courts. We went through the booking procedures and then went back to TTS4 to get my racquets. Since the next bus was scheduled at 240 pm, we decided to walk back to the campus from my place (which is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE). I was practically following my intuition. But, thanks to my good sense of direction *ahem* we finally reached the bridge linking to the campus! Oh, what joy! :D That took us about 20-25 minutes. Well, class went pretty fast and it was time for badminton! The courts were full and the players were really good. So, we decided not to tell them off that we actually booked the court and in the end, we had to play in the football field. LOL.

Tuesday - NO class ! So, me and Audrey took a train down to Mid Valley for shopping! But first, we went to her bus stop in KL to have a look at her bus fairs back to Penang. Then, we had Pizza for lunch. At 5, we waited for the KTM until 540 and by then, we almost missed the bus back to campus but thanks to the jam, the bus only arrived at like 625. *phew* (or else we'd have to wait until 815)

Wednesday - First class of Cultural Studies. BORING. Seriously, it's like Malaysian Studies 2 and moreover, it's a bloody 3 hours lecture. So, I'm dropping that subsidiary module and will be doing Business Econs instead :)

Thursday - Audrey left for Penang. So, I joined Cassandra and her friends to Mid Valley for a night movie, Surrogates, which was boring, really. I almost fell asleep. Totally not worth the money. Reached home at 1 am

Friday - Woke up at 430 for sunrise hiking with Alvin. We took about 40 minutes to reach the peak of Broga Hill. I'm so proud of myself that I actually completed the hike! :) Sadly, it was too cloudy to have a good view of the sunrise. But, the view from the peak was just breathtaking although Nottingham looked kinda pathetic from up there. Hahaha. Then, we went up to Sg. Gabai where there was a waterfall and I saw a baby snake :/ The water was so cooling and refreshing after the hike.

Then, it was time to leave for my home in PJ! The 1240 bus to the KTM station was full, so, I had to wait for the 140 bus. And now, I, blogging from my home in PJ would like to take a rest. :)

Take care people =)
